# 1. Cow and Chicken

Cow and Chicken is a television series created by David Feiss. The story follows the adventures of a cow and her chicken brother. There is another interesting character named “The Red Guy” which is a villain in this show. The cow and Chicken series firstly broadcast from July 15, 1997 to July 24, 1999.




#2. Courage the cowardly Dog

Courage the cowardly Dog is a comedy horror television series created by John R. Dilworth for Cartoon Network. Its central plot revolves around a pink dog named Courage who lives with his owners. Courage and his owners are frequently thrown into bizarre misadventures, often involving the paranormal/supernatural and various villains. The show is known for its surreal, often disquieting humor and bizarre plot twists. The series combines elements of comedy horror, science fantasy, and drama. This series, which premiered on November 12, 1999, ran for four seasons, ending on November 22, 2002 with a total of 52 episodes produced.


#3. Dexter’s Laboratory


Dexter's Laboratory is a comic science fiction television series created by Genndy Tartakovsky for Cartoon Network. The series follows Dexter, a boy-genius with a secret laboratory filled with his collection of inventions. He constantly battles his sister Dee Dee, who always gains access despite his best efforts to keep her out, as well as his arch-rival and neighbor, Mandark. The series' first two seasons contain additional segments: Dial M for Monkey, which focuses on Dexter's pet lab monkey-turned-superhero, and The Justice Friends, about a trio of superheroes who share an apartment. This show premiered on April 28, 1996 by 1999, 52 episodes and a television movie had been produced. Dexter’s Laboratory is the most famous one in Cartoon network and received highly ratings from audience.





Besides these three series, Powerpuff Girls, Scooby-Doo and a lot of series are all the excellent works in my generation. They both have simple and lovely drawing style, strong storytelling, unique visual angle and enjoyment. In my understanding, those traits are the signs of American cartoon.





These shows absolutely represent blogger’s Childhood entertainment. They are all the wonderful memory of my after-school life. Those kind of simple pleasures worth to keep in memory forever.
